Live, Love, Learn Thai
Foreigners can easily live on the beautiful island of Phuket without the need to speak Thai. There’s always the girlfriend, wife or friends to assist with the more difficult issues of communication.
But how much more fun would it be to engage with the locals more, to speak with the waitresses, storeholders, and other locals you come across in daily life? Being able to socialize with mixed groups of westerners and Thai’s and sharing their jokes and laughter. Perhaps you’ll even get a better deal when negotiating your next purchase…..
Learning to speak Thai will provide a much more fulfilling and positive experience to living in this great country and provide you with a new level of enjoyment and confidence.
Our schools are licensed by the Thai Ministry of Education, so when you register for Thai language classes, you qualify for a one-year ED Visa. Using this type of visa, you do not have to do visa runs.
Instead, you apply for a 90 day category “ED’ visa and use documents provided by our school to extend your stay to a full year at the local Ministry of Immigration office in Phuket Town. This allows you to stay in Thailand for a full year with no visa runs.
The school’s lesson fee is 26,000 Baht and there are no other fees from the school. Initially visa fees vary, depending on which consulate you use. The Immigration Office extension fee is 1,900 Baht. Once one full year is done, you can enroll for another year.
We realize that your main reason for visiting the Kingdom may not be for education. We strive to make our program hassle-free for you. If you wish to learn Thai, one year of school includes 200 hours of lessons. This averages to six hours of study each week. We have schools in both Patong and Kamala, and are creating class options, so lessons you wish to attend are convenient.
Better than the Retirement Visa. There is no need for a minimum bank balance, and you do not have to create a company with the associated expense, taxation and legal work involved.
What guarantees do I have? Your fees are 100% refundable if you are not approved for the visa. Course fees are not refundable once the visa has been issued or you have begun your studies.
What nationalities are eligible?
Anyone is eligible for the ED visa. Citizens of India, China, Sri-Lanka, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Iran and Middle Eastern countries must apply for the initial visa in their country.
